how long is a piece of string? (2022)

how long is a piece of string? (2022)  Explores the ethics of personal data collection in the digital age. The installation presents photographic data collected over 30 days, converted into textual data, and printed onto paper. The black boxes symbolize the uncontrollable flow of personal data. A performance video shows the data being destroyed, reflecting the desire for ownership and transparency of our data in digitalized urban environments. Visitors are invited to deactivate the work by destroying the data physically on the exhibition’s last day.
